ON THE RECORD

Jason Cadee and Aron Baynes spoke to the media ahead of the Bullets first home game.

Jason highlighted how great it will be to play on home court in front of the Brisbane fans.

“For us it’s exciting to be at home and be in front of our fans. Obviously a tough start for us but a lot to work through, still early days and I think being at home will help us get the season rolling,” Cadee said.

“It’s really early days and as Tyler said during the week, everyone is going to go through a growth phase and adversity and we’re just dealing with ours now. Hopefully we can get out of it pretty quick and Sunday’s just the start of it.”

Aron spoke about what the team were able to learn from those first few games on the road.

“We learnt about ourselves in those first few games and we learnt what we need to do and honestly where we need to get better in at in a lot of areas,” Aron said

“Hopefully it leads into us going out there and being able to compete not just for 35 minutes or 30 minutes, for the entire 40 minutes or whatever is needed to come out with a win.”

“It’s about going out there and staying locked into what we do,” Baynes added.

“We all want to be better, we all want to do more. No matter if you score 80 or if you score 4 you want to do more the next game. You want to come out and do better for ourselves and the group.
