January Bullets Basketball Camps are back and bigger!

The Brisbane Bullets are excited to announce the return of our Holiday Mega Camps these Summer Holidays. These camps are bigger than ever with opportunities for every age and skill level. Our Big Shots, Development and Performance Academies as well as our Girls Got Game programs will aim to serve over 1500 kids these summer holidays across a series of location in Southeast Queensland.

As well as this, we are taking our renowned camps all the way through Central Queensland, meeting with various locations including Hervey Bay, Gladstone, Bundaberg and Rockhampton.  

These holidays, every camp registration goes into the draw to win a Brisbane Bullets Player Fit Kit. Central Queensland Tour 

The Brisbane Bullets Community Team will be hitting the road and bringing the School Holiday FUN to Central Queensland. From the 15th to the 18th of January, we will be in Hervey Bay, Gladstone, Bundaberg and Rockhampton. Sessions delivered are for everyone from beginners, club athletes and a dedicated Opens Session. Merchandise will be included* in the Big Shots and Academy Sessions.  

*No Merchandise Included in the Open Session.  

Timings –  

• 9:00am to 11:00am: Big Shots (U8 &U12) 
• 11:30am to 12:30pm: U12 Academy (Athletes Born 2012 & 2013) 
• 12:45pm to 1:45pm: U14 Academy (Athletes Born 2010 & 2011) 
• 2:00pm to 3:00pm: U16 Academy (Athletes Born (2008 & 2009)
• 6:00pm to 7:30pm: Open’s (Athletes Born 2007 & Prior) Training session with a complimentary coach education session.

Big Shots Mega Camps and Girls Got Game: 

• Perfect for kids with no, or limited basketball experience, who want to learn the basics 
• Ages: 5 to 11 years old 
• Cost: $80 one day and $140 for two days 
• Optional: Brisbane Bullets Big Shots Merchandise Packs or individual items sold separately 
• Big Shots runs from 9:00am-3:00pm each day
• Girls Got Game runs from 9:00am-12:00pm

Bullets Development Academy Camps: 

The Brisbane Bullets Development Camps are designed for participants aged 10-17 who are new or to the game of Basketball. We tailor these sessions around learning the fundamentals of the game, learning the basic skills, as well as upskilling what you may already know. This session is suitable for club or school level players as well as division 3 and 4 representative level players who are wanting to take their game to the next level. 

• Ages: 10 to 17 years of have 
• Cost: $75.00 
• Optional:  Purchase a Bullets Academy Tee and Bullets Academy Socks on the day 

Bullets Performance Academy Camps:  

The Brisbane Bullets Performance Academy Camps are best suited for division 1 and division 2 representative level players, ages 10-17. These sessions include 30 minutes of strength and conditioning training run by Acceleration Australia (link?) focusing on improving basketball specific movements to help make you stand out amongst your team. The combination of learning high level basketball skills and game play, alongside strength and conditioning makes this session perfect for players who are ready to elevate every aspect of their game.

BULLETS TESTING DAY

We are excited to announce the launch of our new holiday program. The Brisbane Bullets Testing day. We have partnered up with Acceleration Australia, the Brisbane Bullets?High-Performance Team?to deliver a testing day, similar to that of a NBA Combine. 

The testing will include general performance testing such as height, weight, wingspan, vertical jump, 10M sprint, and more. We will also perform some basketball specific tests such as lane agility test, basketball conditioning as well as shooting tests that the athletes can use to track their improvements moving forward.  

Due to the skill level required for the testing batteries simulated we will have a minimum age of 10 years old for athletes to participate. Athletes will be able to compare themselves to Brisbane Bullets players through video analysis which will be included in a 30-minute education session that will conclude the 3-hour session. The Brisbane Bullets Community are thrilled to be running this unique experience and cannot wait to see you there.
