Brisbane Bullets CEO Peter McLennan said: “It’s a great day for the NBL and all of the clubs to now have a schedule released. It’s been a challenging off-season for everyone but to now have a clear start date is really exciting.

“We finished off last season against Cairns in what was one of the greatest wins in the club’s history and I couldn’t think of a better way to start our season at home with the Sunshine Stoush.

“It's going to be an exciting season, but one with many changes. I think we’re all getting used to COVID restrictions and there will be some new protocols on game days, but they won’t take away from the excitement of what a Bullets home game delivers.

“The delay to the season has certainly created high demand and interest in our memberships and corporate sales. I’m looking forward to seeing a full house at Nissan Arena Saturday January 16.”

Tickets for the Bullets’ season go on sale Tuesday 22 December. With games expected to sell out quick, fans are encouraged to buy a Brisbane Bullets membership which are on sale now from at www.membership.brisbanebullets.com.au.

Start times for games will be confirmed.
