Bullets Head to Melbourne for NBL23 Pre-Season Games
The Brisbane Bullets will travel to Melbourne in early September for two NBL23 pre-season games against Melbourne United.
The games will provide the first chance for the Bullets to play together before the NBL Blitz kicks off in Darwin on 16 September.
The Bullets will play United on Thursday 8 September at Selkirk Stadium, Ballarat and on Saturday 10 September at Casey Stadium, Cranbourne East. Tip-off on both nights will be at 7:00pm, with the live stream to begin at 6:50pm.
Both games will be live streamed for Bullets fans back in Brisbane via brisbanebullets.com.au and the Brisbane Bullets Facebook page.
Hostplus Head Coach James Duncan welcomed the opportunity to compete ahead of the NBL23 to the season.
“The team is progressing and we’re building habits that we feel are going to be significant going into the season,” Duncan said.
“We want to take this opportunity to compete against one of the best teams in the NBL. I’m excited to play against other competition and see how our young players are developing.”
Brisbane fans will get their first look at dynamic guard Tyler Johnson and Boomers star Aron Baynes, alongside their Bullets teammates.
The Bullets will then head to Darwin for the NBL Blitz from September 16 for more pre-season games against New Zealand, Cairns, and Melbourne across the week.
