Brisbane Bullets To Play Adelaide 36ers In Preseason Games

The Brisbane Bullets will play their first two preseason games against the Adelaide 36ers next month ahead of the start of the 2020-21 Hungry Jack’s NBL Season.
The Bullets will play the 36ers at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on November 13 and at Titanium Security Arena on November 15.
Brisbane Bullets GM Basketball Sam Mackinnon said: “We are very grateful to have this opportunity to play two preseason games against the Adelaide 36ers as we prepare for the 2020/21 NBL season.
“After a long and challenging offseason, it’s a great chance for our players to play an actual game of basketball against another NBL team.
“It will be exciting to watch coach Andrej Lemanis and the playing group be able to implement and execute our new style of play and it also provides our fans a chance to watch the new look Bullets hit the court.
“Our entire playing and coaching staff have worked extremely hard the past few months and these preseason games against Adelaide will help us build towards the start of the coming season.”
NBL Commissioner Jeremy Loeliger said: “The preseason games in Adelaide are a significant first step for the league as we finalise plans for the forthcoming season which is due to commence in mid-January.
“As state borders open and restrictions around fans attending games are eased, it is important for us to test how we will operate during the upcoming season in what will be very unique circumstances.
“Adelaide is currently permitting fans in enclosed venues and welcoming visitors from Queensland, so this a good opportunity to test how our health and safety protocols for delivering games will work alongside the requirements of the States and venues.
“Venue capacity for the games in Adelaide will be capped at 50 per cent and we will undertake a full review after these games before scheduling further preseason games in December and January.”
